Philanthropy that Gets Results | 2013

Hewins Financial hosted Joel Fleishman, a renowned philanthropy expert, at a special event recognizing high-impact giving and socially responsible investing, followed by a presentation of Fleishman’s latest book on philanthropy that gets results, Give Smart. The Philanthropy that Gets Results special event took place on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center in San Francisco, California.

The event featured Joel Fleishman as the keynote speaker, who shared a presentation on engaged philanthropy that gets results, as outlined in his latest co-authored book, Give Smart. Hewins Financial’s Principal and Regional Director John Bussel provided an inside look at the world of socially responsible investing.

Fleishman and Bussel’s presentations highlighted the growing role of environmental, social and governance factors in both charitable giving and investment decisions.
